An alarming statistic is that more than 75% of the people with substandard vision encountered in both rural and urban areas, have either never had any eye care, or have not been attended to by an eye care provider for at least 2 years.

The long awaited Green Paper on National Health Insurance (NHI) has been released, and heralds the start of a process of development.

There will be a substantial increase in the possible number of patients accessing needed eye care if the financial barriers to entry are removed. As such, Occuvision acts primarily in a scenario of increased patient numbers in a low cost environment, and we align ourselves strategically with our supply industry to ensure appropriate delivery.

We offer the latest above spectacle package deals. These deals include an eye examination, frame and lenses. Where clinically indicated, fundus photography will be included in the eye examination at no extra charge.
